Do you have any shots that show the outside edge of the outer (away from the center of the frame) shutters? I’d like to see whether they would actually mesh properly with the edges of the inner shutters, or whether they’re just for show.
I see thick window shutters like this all the time on old storage rooms, but I’ve never seen dual-shutters like this.
